Fall is Here...

... and it's been over 4 months since I last posted anything on here. I'm sorry about that for you who check this ever so often to see what we've been up to. I'll do a real quick recap of the summer and so far this fall. And HOPEFULLY I'll get back into writing here more frequently.

June is almost over!!!

My oh my... where has the time gone? I've figured out that when you have a lot of bigger things going on in life, time seems to fly by. And when nothing real big is happening, it seems to droll on and on.

Waterheaters, Worms, and Warm Weather...

On April 3rd, we bought a new water heater. It was one of those things that was needed in our house, the one we had was the one that the house came with and the house is ~15 years old. It was leaking more then it should, and each time someone came over to give us an estimate on the cost, they said that it was a NEED.

So this is life...

Here we are on the 24th of March already, and it's hard for me to believe that it is this far already.

This month, and year really, has gone so quickly round here, probably because of our busy day to day lives. But I do find myself thinking "oh I want to write that cute thing down" and then by the time I have a minute, I've forgotten what it was.

Teagan is home!!!!!

Oh hallelujah! It is SO nice to have Teagan's smiles back in the house. We have all missed both mom and Teagan, but as of this morning (Friday ~10:00am), they were released and brought home (both of them needed a long nap).

He was just moved out of the ICU

I just came back and I got to move him from ICU to his room :), I feel so special. He is doing SO much better, I actually got him to smile and laugh a little. We continue to receive so many blessings from you all in the way of food, prayer and what an encouragement it is to see how God has been giving grace when it is needed.
Teagan: Day 2, "Ahhh, clean diaper feels much better"Teagan: day 2..."So what...you want a piece a me?"Teagan and Mom: day 2

He is healing FAST...Praise the Lord!

Stephanie said they are releasing him from ICU and they are waiting for a room. He has been able to eat regularly today and they were able to remove one of his IV's...

Finally...!

Why does it take multiple nurses and oncall doctors to figure out that when a little baby is crying that he MIGHT JUST BE HUNGRY. What was SO obvious to us just seemed to be blind from everyone else. Anyway...

Praise the Lord, surgery went fine!

They did have some pre-op trouble which delayed things about 2 hours :( Teagan is in the ICU and is still unconscious. I have to admitt, it is very hard to watch his little body with so many tubes coming out of him. Stephanie will be staying and I will be going home when he wakes up.

Tomorrow it is...

Well, we just got the call from the hospital...10:00am is Teagan's surgery. I think he is ready, but I know I'm not...
