September Snow???

The day started off just like any other day: get up, breakfast, play time... But then we had the pool guys show up at about 10:30am to fix our heater.

I'm heading out the door to talk to them, and I yell "I'll be right back, okay?" "Okay!" is the response from the loft/playroom. As I was walking down the drive way I jokingly said to one of the men "yeah, when I come back in, the house will be destroyed" he laughed.

Then I came back inside to this...

It's official...

The results of the Ultrasound are in and we're having a baby BOY on or around Novemeber 10th. His name is Teagan John, and WE ARE PSYCHED!!!

Our 5 year old...

Ice Cream TimeIce Cream TimeJames is 5. Can you believe it? I can't. It seems just like yesterday that I was holding him in my arms as a scared first time mother, not sure how to hold him, how to feed him, how to let him know that my heart bursts with how much I love him.

For his Birthday on Wednesday we went to a local ice-cream place and then to the park to run off the sugar. We had a lot of fun, and it was very simular to what we did on his first birthday. We're having people over on Saturday for a pool birthday party and he's looking forward to that. :o)

Out of the Mouths (and off of the hands) of Babes...

Last Monday I go in to get Liz up and she has decided to stick her hand into her pooey diaper and make a mess all over her bed and body... Bath time! So I gave her a bath, all the time wearing the face of "this is not my idea of a good morning". I dry her off and lay her down to put a daiper on her and she start clapping her hands which is the way she tells me she wants to hear her favorite song:

Our 6th Anniversary...

We celebrated our 6th anniversary on Sunday, but we actuallly took the time to celebrate it on Monday by highering a babysitter for 9 hours... yes, 9 hours she watched our kids while we went to the Midwife Center for our first appointment with this child, and then went to dinner at Dave and Busters (think Chucky Cheese for older people) and then to see the movie The Dark Knight.

It was a great day, and we both can't believe it's actually been 6 years! We have many, MANY more to celebrate together, and we're looking forward to it!

So July...

It's half over!! I can't believe it!

I've thought so many times this month that I should sit down and type something for the few people who use this method of keeping up with us, but I just haven't taken the time to do so.

June ended just wonderfully! VBS went great and I really enjoyed spending time with the older generation of ladies involved in our church!

Baby Burton #4...

Was felt by daddy this morning... I had almost forgot how much fun it is to have others be able to feel the little one doing jump rope with my intestines :o)

I've been feeling "him" (hopefully :o) move for over a month now. I know that seems a bit early but with this being my 4 successful pregnancy, I KNOW my body a lot more :o) No longer am I wondering if it is just air moving inside, I know it's a baby!!! :o)

There's been quite a lot going on lately, but it's made me busy so I haven't been writing, sorry.

At the end of May I took all three kids to the zoo with 2 ladies from my MOPS group. We had a lot of fun, and the kids actually behaved for me!! :o) Of course they got upset when we had to leave, but part of that was the fact that it was past naptime for each of them, so I can't really 'blame' them for being upset.

A little bit of this... a little bit of that...

So It's been a while, sorry.

I wanted to write about my birthday two weeks ago, but life just kept going, and it wouldn't stop to give me the time to do it. :o)

Walking...

So I have a 16 month old who is starting to get going on her feet (finally!!!). She'll sometimes get up enough gunho to take off from a chair and walk to the table that is 5-6 steps away. But at night when David and I sit 6ft away from eachother, she can't stop laughing long enough to make it passed 2-3 steps... I guess it's all that attention that we're giving her!!
